Job summary

Reform Projects in Rosebery, NSW seeks a Foreman to oversee on-site construction activities, manage labour and subcontractors, and ensure work is performed to programme, budget, and quality standards. The role reports to the Site Manager and enforces WHSE and QA systems on site.

The candidate will lead day-to-day site operations, monitor progress, and maintain safety and quality across the workface while coordinating logistics and lookahead planning.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Foreman on a construction site supervising construction works.
• Experience overseeing day-to-day site activities and coordinating labour/subcontractors.
• Familiarity with WHSE and QA procedures on construction sites.

• Establish and maintain WHSE and QA procedures on site.

Job Description

Reform Projects, Roseberry NSW Full-time role About the Role Reform Projects is a high-end residential construction company based in Rosebery, New South Wales As full-time Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities on site, ensuring the project is running smoothly and within the timeline provided and to the highest quality standards.

We are seeking someone to commence immediately. The Foreman is responsible for the hands-on, day-to-day supervision of construction works on site, ensuring the works are carried out safely, to programme and to the required quality standard. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Foreman directs site labour and subcontractors at the workface, controls short-term sequencing and site logistics, and is the first line of enforcement of Reform Projects’ WHSE and QA systems.

The role ensures the Site Manager and project team are kept fully informed of progress, constraints and risks arising on site.

Duties of the role

• Day-to-day supervision of all site-based construction activities at the workface.
• Direct site labour and subcontractors to maintain productivity, sequence and site order.
• Always Establish and maintain Reform Projects’ WHSE and QA procedures on site.
• Prepare, manage and review two-week lookahead programmes against the target construction programme.
• Control site logistics including access, deliveries, materials handling, craneage and hoisting, waste and site amenities.
• Ensure the works are delivered in accordance with project parameters for time, cost, quality, client satisfaction and HSE.
• Accountable to the Site Manager for delivery of the works on site.
• Develop an awareness of Reform Projects’ approach to project delivery, and broad exposure to construction systems and associated disciplines and controls.
