Job summary

CC Pines seeks an experienced Site Foreman to coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors from Sydney with regular trips to Darwin. You will oversee safety, quality and environmental control, and maintain close liaison with progress, crew, and site conditions.

Ideal candidates bring a trade qualification with 5–10 years in construction, leadership experience, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel to Darwin is essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to short-term programs and daily/weekly production planning.
• Complete progress reporting and handovers with Site/Project Manager.
• Travel to Darwin regularly to maintain oversight.

Job description

As Site Foreman, you'll coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors to keep construction activities running to plan, spec, and program, working from Sydney with regular trips to Darwin to stay close to progress, the crew, and site conditions. You'll support site safety, quality and environmental control between visits and while on the ground, and flag risks early.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising all features of the construction project from planning to implementation, remotely and during site visits
• Coordinating the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes
• Providing and taking leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management
• Organising tools, plant, machinery, materials and workers, and supervising construction activities during site trips
• Contributing to work methods and rolling short-term construction programs, and planning daily/weekly production work
• Completing progress reporting and shift handover activities, with consistent regular reporting to the Site Manager or Project Manager
• Travelling to Darwin regularly to maintain strong on-the-ground oversight

About you

• Trade qualification in a relevant field and 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably in a leadership role managing site operations
• Familiarity with all trades and different construction contracts and methodologies
• Innovative problem solving, time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
• Active listening and solid verbal and written communication
• Construction white card and telehandler licence, and comfortable with on-site tech and reporting tools
• Willingness and ability to travel to Darwin regularly
