TalentWeb is seeking a driven Site Engineer to join its Sydney construction team, delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across NSW. You will work on day-to-day site delivery, coordinating subcontractors, resolving technical issues and keeping the program on track, while gaining exposure to broader project management responsibilities.

• Experience as a Site Engineer on Australian construction projects.
• Experience with Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments.
• Experience with projects valued at $50m+ is advantageous.
• Ability reading drawings and managing RFIs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with site teams and subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

With multiple projects under construction and a significant pipeline of upcoming work, the business is looking to appoint a driven Site Engineer to join its construction team.

This is an opportunity to take on a hands-on role with greater responsibility than a traditional Site Engineer position, working closely with experienced construction professionals and gaining exposure to the broader management of a project.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale residential development, working closely with the site team to coordinate subcontractors, resolve technical issues and keep construction progressing to program.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating day-to-day construction activities, subcontractors and trade interfaces
• Managing RFIs, reviewing construction drawings and resolving technical and design queries
• Working closely with Site Managers and Foremen to maintain program, quality and safety standards

About You

• Experience as a Site Engineer on Australian construction projects, ideally within Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments
• Exposure to projects valued at $50m+ would be advantageous, although candidates with strong experience managing complex subcontractor packages will also be considered
• A strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and subcontractor coordination
• Comfortable reading drawings, managing RFIs and resolving technical issues on site
• A proactive, practical approach, with the confidence to take ownership and follow issues through to resolutionContinue
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with site teams, consultants and subcontractors
• Ambitious, reliable and looking to develop a long-term career in construction delivery
