Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty Ltd – Gold Coast QLD is seeking an early-career signalling engineer to provide engineering and quality support for signalling construction on a Gold Coast rail project. Reporting to a Project Engineer, you will help translate designs into safe site delivery and coordinate the technical information needed by supervisors and subcontractors.

The role requires reading signalling designs, contributing to inspection plans and QA records, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification and eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• At least two years in signalling engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of construction methods, quality systems and project delivery processes.
• Ability to read signalling designs and drawings and assist with practical engineering problems.
• Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Interpret signalling drawings and design documentation to support site works and resolve technical queries.
• Coordinate engineering and quality requirements across construction activities.
• Track progress, budgets and program performance and contribute to project reporting.
• Prepare inspection and test plans, QA records, RFIs and non-conformance documentation.
• Work with site supervision and contractors to maintain safety, environmental, quality and rail-standard compliance.
