Job summary

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Signalling to join its Rail Systems team on the Gold Coast. You will support planning and delivery of signalling installation works on-site and off-site, ensuring work aligns with approved designs, programme, budget and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and BOMs, coordinating work packs and testing documentation, and liaising with designers, subcontractors and other disciplines to maintain progress and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering and minimum three years' experience in signalling engineering or construction.
• Strong understanding of signalling drawings, circuit books, construction work packs and ITPs/ITCs.
• Experience with signalling systems and ability to coordinate work packages and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Review signalling drawings, circuit books, specifications and BOMs for constructability and installation readiness.
• Prepare and review construction work packs, ITPs/ITCs and work instructions.
• Coordinate technical queries and changes through design and change-control processes.
• Support procurement and materials readiness; assist Signalling Supervisor with planning labour, plant and access.
• Coordinate interfaces with designers, subcontractors and other disciplines.
• Monitor progress against programme and report delivery risks and requirements for escalation.
• Maintain quality records and handover documentation for testing and commissioning.
• Undertake engineering and construction certification activities within assigned authority.
