Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking a Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join a major civil earthworks and roading project in Sydney. You will coordinate day-to-day site activities, review drawings and specifications, and work with subcontractors to deliver safe, on-time work.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 3–5 years’ experience in earthworks/roading, with strong planning, cost control, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Civil Engineer on civil earthworks and/or roading projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing project delivery, including planning, procurement, cost control, and programme management.

We are seeking motivated and experienced Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our growing team delivering civil earthworks and roading projects across the Sydney.

Main Duties:

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Prepare and review construction programs, methodologies, and work packs.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources.
• Monitor project progress and maintain quality standards.
• Assist with cost control, forecasting, and project reporting.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Civil Engineer on civil earthworks and/or roading projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing project delivery, including planning, procurement, cost control, and programme management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
• Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards and safety requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
