ConsultANZ is seeking a Civil Engineer for a site-based role in Sydney. The position offers a base salary between $80,000 and $110,000 plus super, negotiable based on experience, and a permanent full-time contract.

You will attend site construction meetings, monitor activities, manage performance, and ensure safe, compliant execution of project tasks. The role emphasizes collaboration with the project team and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' postgraduate experience with a civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Hands-on, practical approach with strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to think quickly, make tough calls in a demanding environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Attend site construction meetings to monitor activities.
• Coordinate contract performance and ensure best practice and safety.
• Resolve problems and construction issues promptly.
• Understand contracts, scopes of work, drawings, and specs.
• Monitor productivity on assigned section and ensure targets are met.
