Job description

We are looking for a passionate Site Engineer to join the team out in Oran Park on a $100 million commercial project. We are looking for someone to work in a collaborative work environment in a team of high performers.

Infinity Constructions is a family-owned Tier 2 Builder who has been operating within Sydney and Melbourne for the last 32 years working across all sectors with projects valued up to $150 million.

What we are looking for?

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role working for a head contractor.
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Valid Construction White Card and First Aid Certification.
• Strong understanding of large commercial construction projects.
• Ability to handle the administrative duties of the position, including completion of required documents.
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints in conjunction with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adhere and meet tight deadlines.
• The ability to build relationships across a wide range of professionals with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and close out issues to the satisfaction of the stakeholders.

What are your responsibilities?

• Assist in the design, design coordination between individual services, the structure and other building elements, on-site installation, general compliance, commissioning, and certifications of all building services in conjunction with the PM, service manager, or nominee.
• Collaborate in developing, reviewing, monitoring, and compliance with all ITPs.
• Support with technical problem-solving including sending and chasing RFIs.
• Adhere to the Company’s defined WHS and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
• Assist in developing defect and punch lists, monitoring, coordinating, and closing remedial works and ultimate sign-off.
• Liaise with architects and engineers regarding the quality of work.
• Adhere to the organisation’s defined Quality policies and procedures.
• Undertake any other responsibilities consistent with skills, qualifications, and experience as may be required from time to time.
