Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Site Engineer for the greenfield rail project in Queensland. You will report to the Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineer and deliver an assigned area, planning short-term programs, monitoring costs, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent.
• Valid C class driver licence and Construction Safety Awareness Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan short-term programs and resources for an assigned area of the works
• Monitor project costs and productivity to protect margins and meet reporting deadlines
• Support contract delivery and help negotiate subcontract and supply agreements
• Lead by example on safety and help prepare Safe Work Method Statements
• Prepare inspection test reports and close out non-conformances and defects
• Build strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and local government authorities

Skills

Valid C class driver licence

Construction Safety Awareness Card

Experience in construction or eng.

Education
