ACCIONA is seeking a Site Engineer for a greenfield rail project in Australia, reporting to the Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer. You will plan short-term programs, track costs against targets, and ensure safety and quality throughout the works while coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and local authorities.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, cost control, and relationship-building to support contract delivery and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
Valid C class driver licence.
Valid Construction Safety Awareness Card.
Desirable: experience in a construction or engineering setting.
Desirable: Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent.

Responsabilités

Plan short-term programs and resources for an assigned area of the works.
Monitor project costs and productivity to protect margins and meet reporting deadlines.
Support contract delivery and help negotiate subcontract and supply agreements.
Lead by example on safety and help prepare Safe Work Method Statements.
Prepare inspection test reports and close out non-conformances and defects.
Build strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and local government authorities.
