Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering Stage 1 of The Wave rail project on the Sunshine Coast and seeks a Site Engineer to join the team. You will plan short-term programs, track costs, and ensure safety and quality while coordinating with subcontractors, the client and authorities.

You will develop your technical and commercial skills in a hands-on role, with mentoring and training support and a culture that values inclusiveness and respect across our Australian operations.

Qualifications

Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
Valid C class driver licence.
Valid Construction Safety Awareness Card.
Desirable: experience in a construction or engineering setting.
Desirable: Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Plan short-term programs and resources for an assigned area of the works
Monitor project costs and productivity to protect margins and meet reporting deadlines
Support contract delivery and help negotiate subcontract and supply agreements
Lead by example on safety and help prepare Safe Work Method Statements
Prepare inspection test reports and close out non‑conformances and defects
Build strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and local government authorities
