Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering greenfield rail works on the Sunshine Coast. As Site Engineer, you will report to the Project Engineer, plan short‑term programs, monitor costs, and ensure safety and quality on site while coordinating with subcontractors, the client, and authorities to drive the works forward.

This hands-on role builds your technical and commercial skills as the project comes together, with mentoring and training support to advance your career within ACCIONA’s regenerative infrastructure

Qualifications

Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
Desirable: experience in a construction or engineering setting.
Desirable: Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent.
Required: Valid C class driver licence.
Required: Valid Construction Safety Awareness Card.

Responsibilities

Plan short-term programs and resources for an assigned area of the works.
Monitor project costs and productivity to protect margins and meet reporting deadlines.
Support contract delivery and help negotiate subcontract and supply agreements.
Lead by example on safety and help prepare Safe Work Method Statements.
Prepare inspection test reports and close out non-conformances and defects.
Build strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and local government authorities.
