Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Perth team and contribute to civil infrastructure projects across metropolitan and regional areas. You will coordinate construction activities, manage documentation, monitor progress and ensure safety and quality are maintained on every project.

The role offers exposure to diverse projects, with opportunities to develop technical, commercial and leadership capabilities within a leading Australian engineering and construction business.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Site Engineer or Project Engineer role within civil construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and support project delivery teams.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, ITPs and QA records.
• Assist with planning, programming and resource coordination.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and site productivity.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and safety standards.
• Manage cost tracking, forecasting and reporting activities.
• Support procurement and contract administration processes.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the achievement of project objectives relating to safety, quality, programme and budget
