Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Site Engineer to join the Urban team based in North Brisbane / Sunshine Coast. You will draw on your site and engineering experience to provide technical support and ensure timely delivery of civil activities.

Working closely with site supervisors and subcontractors, you will help manage quality, safety and procurement requirements while delivering value-for-money outcomes on diverse civil projects across the region.

• Site Engineer with civil engineering background and strong technical acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• Motivation to achieve value-for-money in civil projects.

About The Role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our BMD Urban team, based in North Brisbane/ Sunshine Coast. You will draw on your demonstrated site and engineering experience, to:

• Work closely with site supervisors to provide engineering and technical support
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities
• Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements
• Manage the quality assurance of works and oversee procurement requirements.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do
• Motivation to achieve value-for-money results
• Experience with reputable local contractors working on civil construction projects ranging in value.
