Job summary

BMD Group is seeking Site Engineers who are open to FIFO and DIDO-based work across regional and remote locations in Queensland. You will support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure works by providing onsite engineering and technical assistance, coordinating day-to-day construction activities and ensuring works meet design specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum two years onsite on civil infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO rosters across Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering support to construction teams.
• Coordinate day-to-day subcontractors and site activities.
• Set out works and verify against design and specifications.
• Support QA, inspections and documentation processes.
• Assist with short-term planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Promote strong safety, environmental and quality outcomes on site.
• Work closely with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and subcontractors.

About The Role

With a strong pipeline of newly awarded projects across Queensland, BMD is seeking Site Engineers who are open to FIFO and DIDO-based work across regional and remote locations. Reporting to the Project Engineer and Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure works by providing onsite engineering and technical assistance. You will play a hands-on role in coordinating day-to-day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with project schedules.

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum two years working onsite on civil infrastructure projects
• Exposure to earthworks, structures, roads or related scopes preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO rosters across Queensland
