Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd is assisting a privately owned civil contractor with a large NSW/QLD upgrade program. They seek a Site Engineer to join a strong project team on a $100M earthworks, drainage, roads and slope stabilisation package.

You may be based locally or on a DIDO arrangement with accommodation. Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will manage procurement, programming, QA, client and stakeholder relations, forecasts and safety/environmental compliance.

Competenze

• Local Australian civil construction experience is required.
• Relevant Civil Engineering degree is mandatory.
• Experience delivering DTMR/RMS or council standard works is preferred.

A fantastic opportunity with a privately owned civil engineering construction company who work on local authorities and main roads projects across QLD and surrounding regions in NSW. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contactor is a structures specialist with a long history in the industry.

We are searching for a Site Engineerwith a minimum of 2 years’ local experience within civil construction. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a strong & well-equipped project team on a $100M value project delivering earthworks, drainage, roads, geotechnical & slope stabilisation works in Northern NSW.

Reporting to the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
• Programming and daily planning
• Quality Assurance management
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Preparing financial reports and completing forecasts
• Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met

To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering local Australian projects to DTMR specifications / or similar (RMS / Council standards etc) and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions. Either based local or DIDO option with accommodation and allowances paid. Fully maintained vehicle provided also! Relevant Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications required.
