Job summary

Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer for a local civil upgrade program in Northern NSW. The project is valued at around $100M and involves earthworks, drainage, roads, geotechnical and slope stabilisation works.

You will join a well-equipped project team and report to the Project Engineer. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of local civil construction experience and a Civil Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 2+ years local experience in civil construction.
• Civil Engineering degree required.
• Experience delivering local Australian projects to DTMR or similar standards preferred.

• Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers.
• Programming and daily planning.
• Quality Assurance management.
• Maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Preparing financial reports and forecasts.

A fantastic opportunity with a privately owned civil engineering construction company who work on local authorities and main roads projects across QLD and surrounding regions in NSW. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contactor is a structures specialist with a long history in the industry.

We are searching for a Site Engineerwith a minimum of 2 years’ local experience within civil construction. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a strong & well-equipped project team on a $100M value project delivering earthworks, drainage, roads, geotechnical & slope stabilisation works in Northern NSW.

Reporting to the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
• Programming and daily planning
• Quality Assurance management
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Preparing financial reports and completing forecasts
• Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met

To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering local Australian projects to DTMR specifications / or similar (RMS / Council standards etc) and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions. Either based local or DIDO option with accommodation and allowances paid. Fully maintained vehicle provided also! Relevant Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications required.
