PSD Energy is seeking a Site Electrician for the Horsham Solar Farm & BESS project in Victoria. This casual, short-term role supports electrical installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning on a 3:1 roster, with an immediate start for 3–4 months.

The position targets a qualified Electrician looking to build on-site project delivery experience within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector, offering opportunities to advance skills and future project pathways.

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or training program.
• Qualified Electrician status.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with regulations and project requirements.
• Conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical installations to support safety and compliance.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Assisting with hot commissioning to support project schedule and milestones.
• Supervising and guiding apprentices where required.
• Collaborating with site teams to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used and site activities.
• Following health and safety regulations and site requirements.
• Promoting a safe, reliable and team-focused working environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Completion of a relevant electrical apprenticeship or training program
• Qualified Electrician status
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A proactive approach to learning and developing new skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Willingness to support site-based project activities, commissioning assistance and apprentice supervision where required
