Job summary

Ava James Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a well established civil contractor in Western Australia. The role is predominantly site based, initially in Perth at Osborne Park, with responsibility for planning, pricing and pre-delivery activities while projects are mobilised.

You will manage two to three projects valued from $250k to $10m, transitioning to site delivery once mobilised, and you will lead the project team to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery across

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil construction projects valued between $250k and $10m.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Background as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer within civil construction.
• Strong commercial, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a predominantly site based role once projects commence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead two to three projects concurrently from planning through to delivery
• Oversee project programming, cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Support pricing, tender reviews and project planning during the initial Perth based phase
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
