Job summary

Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company in Australia seeks a Project Manager to lead major residential communities across North West Sydney, delivering staged subdivisions from planning to completion.

You will collaborate with Development Managers, consultants, councils and contractors, managing programme, cost and quality while spending a minimum of three days on site with some remote work. This role offers hands-on leadership, commercial responsibility and a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience across civil engineering, design, construction, land development, subdivision, or project management.
• Strong experience delivering land development and civil subdivision projects.
• Proven experience working with local councils, approval authorities, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong commercial and project management capabilities.
• Current driver licence and willingness to spend three days per week on project sites.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Curious and solutions-focused mindset.
• Collaborative approach across disciplines.
• Proactive, hands-on, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of major staged subdivision projects.
• Partner with Development Managers to deliver programme, cost, quality, and milestones.
• Coordinate relationships with civil contractors, consultants, councils, and authorities.
• Oversee planning and execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality and objectives.
• Identify and develop practical, commercially sound solutions to challenges.
• Work across technical and commercial disciplines to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
• Monitor construction and milestones, ensuring a strong site presence.
• Contribute to governance, communication and decision-making throughout the lifecycle.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Proactively look for improvements and address risks.
