Job summary

Nextgen Civil is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site operations for subdivision projects in regional NSW. You will supervise day-to-day activities, coordinate subcontractors, and drive productivity while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will run pre-start meetings, manage deliveries, and maintain project logs, reporting to the project manager. A strong background in bulk earthworks, roadworks, and utilities, plus NSW WHS knowledge, is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager or similar on subdivision projects in NSW.
• Experience with bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, and utilities.
• NSW White Card (General Construction Induction) is required.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence; Heavy Vehicle licence desirable.
• Plant/machinery tickets or supervisory qualifications are preferred.
• Solid knowledge of NSW WHS regulations and local subdivision standards.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site personnel, operators and subcontractors; allocate staff and resources.
• Oversee daily operations to meet milestones and schedules.
• Lead pre-start meetings, toolboxes, site diaries and progress logs.
• Coordinate deliveries, material orders and plant movement.
• Enforce WHS, environmental standards and quality systems on site.
• Manage site security, asset protection and routine maintenance.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for project managers, engineers, clients and inspectors.
