Job summary

SIL Homes and Supported Accommodation Supports in Inner West and North Shore NSW offers casual 6-8 hour shifts across SIL homes and supported accommodations. Roles require full working rights in Australia and a minimum of 12 months' hands-on disability support experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months' hands-on experience supporting adults in disability or related settings.
Calm, respectful and professional approach to support.
Strong documentation, incident reporting and handover skills.
Excellent English communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

Support residents with daily routines, personal care, hygiene and independence.
Provide respectful support for adults with psychosocial, mental health, or intellectual disability needs.
Assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation and safe living environment.
Conduct medication assistance and document according to policy.
Support emotional regulation, routines, and community participation.
Provide community access and transport support where required.
Complete progress notes, handovers and incident reports accurately.
Escalate concerns appropriately and maintain dignity, privacy and confidentiality.
Work as part of a residential support team.
Experience in SIL, residential disability support, mental health or aged care is valued.
