Job summary

Invigorate Ability Pty Ltd is seeking Disability Support Workers for SIL homes and Day Programs in Campbelltown, with flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleepovers. Roles cover SIL, Day Programs and community activities across Campbelltown and Macarthur.

You will support participants with daily living, skills development and group activities, guided by Behaviour Support Plans and trauma-informed approaches.

Qualifications

• Requires Certificate III or IV in Disability or related field or currently studying one.
• Experience as Disability Support Worker, especially in SIL or psychosocial/complex needs is preferred.
• Availability on weekends, afternoons and evenings; willing to do sleepovers.
• Valid driver’s licence and a reliable, insured car for travel across Campbelltown and Macarthur.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are required.
• Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain them.
• Calm, patient, reliable with clear professional boundaries and good written English for shift notes.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living, personal care, meals, medication assistance and household tasks.
• Help participants build independence, life skills and community participation.
• Run and join group activities at the Day Program.
• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and use positive behaviour support strategies.
• Stay calm and professional when behaviours of concern or complex situations arise.
• Write clear, accurate shift notes and incident reports after every shift.
• Work with your team leader, operations manager and allied health professionals.
