We are seeking an experienced and motivated House Manager to join our team and support the effective day-to-day operation of our supported accommodation services across South-West Sydney.
This is a Part-time leadership position combining part-time House Manager responsibilities offering 15-20 hours per week (30-40 hours per fortnight) with part-time Support Worker hours offering 10 hours per week (20 hours per fortnight). The role is designed to provide a balance of leadership, compliance, administration and hands-on participant support, with the allocation of hours adjusted according to operational requirements.
The role combines house management, staff supervision, mentoring, compliance and administration with hands-on involvement in participant support.
As House Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our homes operate safely, consistently and in accordance with participant needs, organisational expectations and NDIS requirements.
You will work closely with support workers and management to provide guidance, monitor performance, address operational matters and maintain high standards of service delivery.
The successful candidate will also remain connected to frontline service delivery by undertaking direct support shifts and spending time within the houses.
Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, mentoring and support to Support Workers, including monitoring performance, KPIs, documentation and compliance.
Ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred supports in accordance with NDIS legislative and regulatory requirements, relevant Practice Standards and quality indicators.
Support the effective implementation of participant support plans, routines and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), including authorised restrictive practices and relevant reportable incident requirements.
Support participants to achieve their individual goals through capacity building, skill development, independence and participation within the SIL environment.
Monitor participant needs, progress and service delivery, identifying and following up on participant, staff and operational matters.
Conduct regular house visits and observe staff practice, participant engagement and the overall quality of service delivery.
Coordinate and allocate appropriate shift duties based on participant needs, staff capabilities and operational requirements, including assisting with roster management where required.
Maintain accurate and timely participant, staff, incident, compliance and operational documentation.
Work collaboratively with management and the broader support team to address issues, improve service delivery and maintain consistent communication.
Undertake direct Support Worker shifts to remain actively involved in frontline service delivery and maintain firsthand knowledge of participant needs and routines.
Complete administrative, compliance and operational tasks within the houses where practical.
Contribute to a positive, respectful and professional workplace culture that promotes participant dignity, safety, choice and wellbeing.
The role may include up to an additional 6 management hours per week for a candidate with strong roster-management capability. Additional direct-support hours may also be available depending on operational requirements.

Demonstrated experience working in disability/SIL services.
Experience across relevant operational and performance KPI areas.
Strong staff supervision and people-management skills.
Experience mentoring, coaching and training support workers.
The ability to organise and allocate appropriate shift duties.
Strong administrative and computer skills.
Experience monitoring documentation, compliance and operational requirements.
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
Experience with roster management, or the ability and willingness to take on roster responsibilities.
A willingness to work directly with participants.
A willingness to complete administrative duties from the houses when required.
Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with management and staff.
