Job summary

Multitask is seeking a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of our Northern Rivers residences in NSW. The role blends administration, supervision and direct disability support, with a person-centred approach.

Classification is SCHCDS Level 4 at $46.70 per hour. It is a not-for-profit position offering potential salary sacrifice; initial tenure is 76 hours per fortnight for 12 months, with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Disability Services or equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current NDIS Worker Check.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a diverse team.
• Problem-solve, use initiative and work autonomously.
• Experience supervising staff and implementing training and development.
• Experience supporting personal care, health and wellbeing, community participation.
• Administrative ability: budgeting, rostering, records management.
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and active support.
• Commitment to WHS and Equal Opportunity.
• Computer literacy with MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of Multitask residences in the Northern Rivers.
• Balance administration, supervisory duties and direct disability support work.
• Maintain a person-centred culture and ensure quality services.
• Manage budgets, rosters and records; ensure policy adherence.
