Job summary

CE Group is seeking experienced Electricians for Goonyella Riverside Mine shutdown, including MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works. You will join a crew of electrical personnel on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

The role involves a four-week shutdown with a short pre-work period. Flights and camp accommodation are provided; weekly pay applies.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Licence required.
• Standard 11 certification required.
• Coal Board Medical current.
• Experience with MCC or HV switchboard replacements.
• Previous Goonyella/Mine site experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works.

Electricians | Goonyella Mine Shutdown | 8:6 Roster

CE Group is seeking experienced Electricians for upcoming Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works at Goonyella Riverside Mine.

This short-term opportunity includes approximately one week of pre-work plus a four-week shutdown. The two supervisors will work back-to-back on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, supervising crews of approximately eight electrical personnel.

About the role

Working within a crew of approximately 8 electrical personnel, you will assist with Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works.

Pre-work will include off-site training, SOPs, medicals, online training, confined-space training and site authorisation activities.

About you

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience with MCC or HV switchboard replacement works
• Previous BMA Core or Goonyella Mine experience is highly advantageous
• Current Goonyella Mine authorisations will be highly regarded
