Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Wall Street Waterloo showroom is seeking a Showroom Sales Consultant on a contract basis. You will split between client facing and showroom administration, selling Signorino and Woodcut products, with focus on natural stone and timber surfaces.
You will work with a team that values product knowledge and showroom presentation, growing your expertise over time. You will also develop relationships with retail, trade and interior design clients, while helping to achieve individual and team targets
You take pride in knowing your product, and you like being the person a customer can trust to get it right.
We are looking for someone to step into our established Waterloo showroom on a contract basis.
You will be selling both the Signorino and Woodcut products, so a genuine interest in both natural stone and timber surfaces will serve you well here.
You will be working alongside a team that knows the product well and takes real pride in the showroom itself. There is a genuine scope to build your product knowledge over time and grow into the role.
Signorino and Woodcut are both family businesses passed down through the generations, Signorino for more than fifty years & Woodcut from our director's grandfather, a timber merchant. Today we supply premium natural stone, terrazzo and porcelain surfaces alongside engineered European oak flooring, specified on many of Australia's most design-led projects.
The role is evenly split between working with clients and keeping the showroom running behind the scenes, from administration and sample room requirements to organising.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
You take pride in what you sell and where you sell it, and you would rather earn a customer's trust than push for a quick sale.
And the non-negotiables: you take initiative rather than waiting to be asked, you keep the showroom looking at the part even when no one is watching, and you give every customer your full attention.
