Job summary

BMA Caval Ridge Mine, a leading Australian mining operator, is seeking an experienced CAT 7495 Electric Rope Shovel operator on a FIFO roster from Brisbane or Cairns. The role involves pre-strip work, safe shovel operation, and collaboration with production crews to achieve targets.

You will conduct pre-start checks, maintain safety compliance, and contribute to a high-performing team in a fast-paced mining environment. Camp accommodation and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CAT 7495 Electric Rope Shovels.
• Hold a Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical certifications.
• Training Transcript, LMS record, or signed skills list available.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 7495 Electric Rope Shovels in the Pre-Strip Department.
• Load haul trucks safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
• Complete pre-start inspections and report any equipment defects.
• Collaborate with production crews to support mine plans.
• Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and operational requirements.
• Contribute to a productive, high-performing mining team.

• Operating CAT 7495 Electric Rope Shovels within the Pre-Strip Department
