Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for a coal mine in Moranbah, Queensland. You will safely operate a range of on-site machinery and hold skills in two of Shovels, Diggers, Dozers, Loaders or Graders.

The role includes a 7:7 day and night rotating roster with on-site camp and meals provided. Experience with Shovels 4100, Excavators 996/3600/5600, Dozers D10/D11, Loaders or Graders 16/24 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience and skill in operating the listed mining equipment (two or more).
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical within last 5 years or willing to obtain.

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with local, DIDO and BIBO opportunities available.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be working as a Multi-Skilled Operator within the Pre-Strip department on a Coal Mine in the Moranbah region. You will be required to safely operate a variety of machinery on site and hold a recent skill of at least two of the following - Shovels, Diggers, Dozers, Loaders or Graders. You will be working a 7:7 day & night shift rotating roster with camp and meals all included. These roles are available to local, DIDO or BIBO from Mackay or Rockhampton.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Previous mining experience operating Shovels 4100, Excavators 996, 3600 or 5600, Dozers D10 or D11, Loaders or Graders 16 or 24.

You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 5 years or be willing to attain this.

SSE Signed Skills List within 5yrs, Current Drivers Licence & Full Right to Work in Australia
