Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking an experienced Shovel Operator to work at a coal mine in the Moranbah region. You will safely operate CAT6060 or 6040 shovels on a 12.5-hour, 7/7 roster, including day and night shifts.

This role is available to BIBO from Mackay, DIDO and residential candidates. Camp and meals are provided, with rosters and superannuation on all rostered hours.

Qualifications

• You must have operated CAT6060 or CAT6040 shovel in a coal mining environment.
• You will need a current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (last 2 years) or be willing to obtain.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT6060 or CAT6040 shovel at a coal mine in Moranbah region.
• Work 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster (day and night).

Our client is a leading Australian Mining and Resource client with operations and exploration projects across the Bowen and Surat basins, with four major coal-producing assets supplying metallurgical coal to a global market. They holda strong track record of performance in developing, operating and rehabilitating coal resources to produce export metallurgical coal for steel making.

What you will be Doing

You will be working as an Shovel Operator on a coal mine in the Moranbah region. You will be required to safely operate CAT6060 or 6040 Shovels. The successful candidate will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster, day and night shift Thurs-Wed. These roles are available to BIBO (Mackay), DIDO and residential candidates.

What you will need

Previous experience operating a CAT6060 or 6040 Shovel within a coal mining environment

You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
