Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operations Manager for Ballarat-based centres. You will own day-to-day operations, lead facilities management, and build strong retailer relationships to deliver compliant, safe, and high-quality environments.

Responsibilities include budget preparation, contract administration, and capital improvement projects, while collaborating with the Centre Manager to drive efficiencies and service excellence across Central Square Ballarat and Thompson Parkway

Qualifications

• Experience in shopping centre operations or facilities management with compliance knowledge.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts.
• Technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance protocols.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shopping centres operations, facilities, and maintenance.
• Manage contracts, tenders, and supplier compliance.
• Prepare budgets and 3-year business plan.
• Conduct building audits and safety/compliance reviews.
• Produce reports on operational performance and savings.
• Develop capital improvement projects and tenant fit-outs.
• Maintain asset register and lifecycle analysis.
• Coordinate with retailers and clients to meet needs.
• Ensure risk management and security procedures.
