Job summary

SP Talent is seeking an experienced Operations Manager / Facilities Manager to lead the on-site operations of a busy shopping centre in Brisbane's Inner Northern Suburbs. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will ensure safety, compliance, maintenance, and presentation to the highest standard, while delivering efficient facilities management and cost control.

Qualifications

Experience in facilities or operations management within commercial property or a similar environment.
Experience in retail property is a plus.
Strong leadership and contractor management skills.
Proactive, solutions-focused approach with high operational standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain the centre to an exceptional standard of presentation, cleanliness and maintenance.
Oversee the maintenance and performance of all plant and equipment.
Ensure compliance with insurance requirements, workplace health and safety legislation, and statutory obligations.
Manage cleaning, maintenance, security and specialist service contractors.
Ensure contractor inductions and compliance requirements are completed.
Monitor utilities and implement initiatives to improve energy and water efficiency.
Assist with tenant fit-outs, refurbishments and centre improvement projects.
Build strong working relationships with tenants, contractors, stakeholders and customers.
