Job summary

Knight Frank Australia is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance for three Brisbane shopping centres. This hands-on role coordinates hard services, tenant interactions, compliance, and project delivery to keep centres safe and ready for trade.

You will manage budgets, engage contractors, and ensure timely inspections while supporting tenancy activities across sites in Brisbane. A strong trades background and experience with CAPEX are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Facilities Manager or Facilities Coordinator ready to take the next step.
• Strong trade background or technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, building, HVAC, or similar disciplines.
• Experience managing hard services, preventative maintenance programs, contractor performance, and day-to-day operational issues.
• Experience delivering Capex projects, including budgets, submissions, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for 3 shopping centres across Brisbane.
• Oversee hard services, tenant interaction, maintenance, compliance, project management and contractor performance.
• Coordinate planned, proactive and reactive maintenance activities with opportunities for efficiencies.
• Meet with contractors (cleaning, security) to ensure KPI compliance and allocated budgets.
• Prepare capital expense proposals and manage risk assessments.
• Maintain compliance and essential services documentation, ensuring certifications are current.
• Support tenancy delivery activities, coordinating access and ensuring centre requirements.

Oversee the facilities management for a portfolio of Warner HUB Shopping Centres ( (travel allowance available).

This role will help you build strong stakeholder relationships working directly with retailers, contractors and clients.

Who we’re looking for?

Experienced Facilities Manager or Facilities Coordinator ready to take the next step

Strong trade background or technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, building, HVAC, or similar disciplines.

Confident managing hard services, preventative maintenance (PPM) programs, contractor performance, and day to day operational issues.

Demonstrated experience delivering Capex projects, including budgets, submissions, and financial management.

The role

This is a hands on, site-based role responsible for the day-to-day operations and presentation of 3 shopping centres across Brisbane. You’ll manage a facility hard services, along with tenant interaction, maintenance, compliance, project management, and contractor performance to ensure each shopping centre remains safe, efficient and ready for trade every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage planned, proactive and reactive maintenance activities looking for improvement opportunities & efficiencies within the shopping centres
• Coordinating contractors and ensuring works are completed to quality, safety and compliance requirements.
• Meet with contractors such as cleaning, security to ensure compliance with KPIs & Work within allocated operational budgets
• Complete regular inspections, building walks and risk assessments, addressing issues promptly and escalating to trades for more complex repairs and put together capital expense proposals
• Maintain all compliance and essential services documentation, ensuring certifications are current and support operational readiness for trade.
• Support tenancy delivery activities, coordinating access and ensuring retailer fit outs meet compliance and centre requirements.
