Job summary

Private Advertiser, Port of Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Import/Export shipping coordinator to join our team. The role focuses on coordinating import and export shipments, managing job files, and using Cargo Wise.

You should be proficient with Excel, able to register jobs and ensure compliance with transport and customs procedures. This is a permanent role with probation and competitive salary with leave loading and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy with speed and accuracy in Excel.
• Experience using Cargo Wise is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate job files and registrations for import/export shipments.
• Use Cargo Wise software to coordinate shipping activities.
• Register jobs including pack/unpack, house bills, and co-load.
• Coordinate transport requirements and ensure compliance with ABF/DAWE where applicable.
• Contribute to the Operations team and uphold legal and ethical standards.

We are a privately owned company located at Port of Brisbane and specialise in Container Storage and Warehousing for the shipping and transport industry

We are currently looking for and experienced Import/Export shipping coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

Computer literate using all programs especially XL spreadsheets with speed and accuracy

Experience using Cargo Wise

Job Registration and operating of job files

Experience in Job registration both pack/unpack/house bills/co-load

Knowledge of transport requirements

Familiar with ABF (customs) and DAWE (AQIS) procedures (desirable but not essential)

Contribute as a member of the Operations team

Ensure all activities comply with relevant acts, legal requirements, and ethical standards

Permanent with probationary period
