Job summary

Bayswater Bar & Grill in Hervey Bay seeks an on-site Duty Manager to lead shifts, support the team, and ensure smooth operations across food & beverage, gaming, and safety standards. You’ll manage opening/closing, cash handling, and uphold high service quality.

You will bring proven venue supervision experience, current Queensland RSA/RSG, and availability for evenings/weekends, to help drive a positive guest experience at Bayswater Bar & Grill.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a busy venue (pub/hotel/club).
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG or ability to obtain them before starting.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the venue and support team members during busy periods.
• Open/close venue, including cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.
• Maintain standards across food & beverage, gaming, TAB and KENO.
• Coach team members and foster a positive culture.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve issues; ensure safety compliance.
