Job summary

Sundowner Hotel & Motel in Caboolture is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead our venue operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee gaming, bar, bistro and daily hospitality activities in a fast-paced setting.

We value hands-on leaders with RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager licences (QLD), strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role.
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (QLD).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in gaming, bar and food & beverage environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during day and evening shifts.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and guest experiences.
• Oversee gaming, bar, bistro and venue operations.
• Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming and venue procedures.
• Assist with staff supervision, cash handling and shift management.
• Support the Venue Manager in maintaining high operational standards.
• Foster a positive team culture and lead by example.
