Job summary

Bluewater Bar & Grill in Trinity Park, Cairns, is seeking a hands-on Full-Time Duty Manager to join our management team. You’ll lead FOH operations, oversee service during busy periods and ensure smooth day-to-day running of a vibrant hospitality venue.

We value strong leadership, superb customer service and the ability to make quick, informed decisions on the floor. Experience in hospitality supervision and RSA/RSG certification will help you hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to schedule staff and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise FOH operations during allocated shifts.

• Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality.
• Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

• Assist with gaming, bar and bistro operations.
• Complete cash handling, reconciliation and end-of-day procedures.
• Ensure RSA, RSG, liquor licensing and venue procedures are followed.

Bluewater bar and Grill – Trinity Park QLD

Bluewater Bar & Grill is looking for a hands-on and motivated Full-Time Duty Manager to join our management team. This is an operational, floor-based leadership role suited to an experienced hospitality supervisor or Duty Manager who enjoys being involved in service, leading a team and taking responsibility for the smooth operation of a busy venue. We are also open to applicants who are currently working as a strong hospitality supervisor and are ready to take the next step into management.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise FOH operations during allocated shifts

Open and close the venue and take responsibility as Manager on Duty

Lead the team from the floor during busy services

Allocate staff, breaks and duties throughout the shift

Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality

Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues professionally

About you

Has previous hospitality supervisory or management experience

Is reliable, organised and accountable

Can make decisions and solve problems during a shift

Is comfortable providing direction and feedback to staff

Can work nights, weekends and public holidays as required

Holds or is willing to obtain the required Queensland RSA/RSG and management-related certifications
