Job summary

Visy in New South Wales is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to maintain, repair and improve fixed plant and equipment across our recycling operation.

You will perform mechanical maintenance, fault finding, welding and preventative tasks, assist with planning maintenance activity, and support safe work practices and continuous improvement. The role operates on a Day shift with Saturday overtime and emphasizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

About the opportunity:

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our fixed plant and equipment throughout the recycling operation.

• Shift Details: This role operates on an 8‑hour Day Shift from Monday to Friday plus opportunity for overtime on Saturdays

• Preventative maintenance tasks and continuous improvement projects
• Assisting with planning and prioritising daily maintenance activities
• Supporting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with site procedures

What You Will Bring:
