Responsibilities

• Review automotive loan documents prior to processing payments.
• Work with dealers and lending officers to resolve issues and provide high-level customer service.
• Process contracts and organise tax invoices for payment.
• Communicate pending issues clearly to dealers.
• Allocate funds and prepare dealer tax invoices for payment.
• Upload deals promptly before cut-off times and make notes for accounts processing.
• Identify inconsistencies between documentation and system information and correct them.
• Take queue calls and process dealer requests efficiently while remaining logged into the queue.
• Assist in Credit inbox, Collections, and Customer Service as required.

As a Settlements Officer you will be responsible for reviewing automotive loan documents prior to processing payments, working closely with dealers and lending officers to resolve issues and always providing a high-level of customer service.

Tasks

• Processing contracts, organising tax invoices for payment, communicate errors with dealers.
• Incoming documents for settlement should be promptly and accurately actioned in line with service level agreements.
• Clearly communicate pending issues to the dealers.
• Income and expense verification

Allocating Funds:

• Allocating money to correct recipients and preparation of Dealer Tax Invoices for payment, at a high level of accuracy.
• Upload deals promptly well before cut-off times.
• Make clear notes for accounts processing.
• Recheck and identify issues with payment details submitted.

Pending Comments:

• Identify inconsistencies between documentation and system information. Pending comments should always be correctly entered into the system and sent to dealers promptly.
• Pending Information to be clearly described to eliminate call backs from dealers requiring clarification.
• Have up to date information on pending report, investigate each deal and information saved on settlements system.

Verifying:

• Consistently and accurately identify discrepancies between system information and documentation.
• Errors should be promptly fixed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Taking queue calls and processing dealer requests efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Remain logged into the phone queue as required.
• Identify dealer needs. Offer solutions to problems with accounts.
• Communicate with dealers in a professional and friendly manner.

Administrative Duties:

• Assist in the Credit inbox when required
• Assist Collections when required
• Assist Customer Service when required
