Job summary

Mount Isa Mines is seeking a Serviceperson to operate the service truck for mobile maintenance, including refuelling and daily services on frontline and ancillary equipment within the surface fleet. This is a residential role on a 7 day on, 7 days off roster (dayshift only) based in Mount Isa.

You will report to the Supervisor Heavy Fleet at Mobile Maintenance ISF & Rebuild Workshop and support the Mobile Maintenance team with safe, efficient operations on site.

Qualifications

• Manual driver's license (LR class) or ability to obtain
• Forklift ticket or ability to obtain
• Knowledge of mobile fleet operations or mechanical knowledge valued
• Excellent organisation and self-motivation, able to work alone or in a team
• Strong written and verbal communication with customer service focus
• Knowledge of MIM surface lease is preferable

Responsibilities

• Complete refuelling and daily services on frontline and ancillary equipment in the field
• Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed
• Provide support to the Mobile Maintenance team

• Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed
• Provide support to the Mobile Maintenance team

The successful applicants will have:

• Manual driver's license (LR class) or be able to obtain
• Knowledge of the MIM surface lease(preferable)
• Previous experience with mobile fleet or mechanical knowledge will be highly valued
• A very high organisational and self-motivation skills with the ability to work individually and part of a team
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
• Forklift ticket or be able to obtain
