Job summary

Svitla Systems, Inc. in Sydney is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Consultant for a full-time hybrid role (40 hours per week). The role focuses on design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow ITSM, Service Design, and Now Assist capabilities.

You will work under senior architects to implement ITIL-aligned processes, configure CMDB, Service Catalog, SLAs, and work with Now Assist, testing, documentation, and user training.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on ServiceNow configuration or development.
• Exposure to Now Assist configuration or integration with ITSM modules.
• Understanding of Service Catalog design and SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB structure, relationships and data import processes.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service design principles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
• Contribute to the setup and customization of Service Catalog items, workflows, and approvals.
• Support the configuration and integration of Now Assist and AI-driven ServiceNow features.
• Work on Service Design artifacts, ensuring alignment with established service delivery models.
• Develop and maintain SLAs, notifications, and performance metrics for IT services.
• Conduct CMDB data loads, reconciliation, and maintenance to ensure data accuracy and relationships.
• Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to deliver configured solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and user training for ServiceNow modules.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement of deployed ServiceNow solutions.
• Learn and stay current with new ServiceNow releases and platform features.
