• Configure HRSD capabilities including Employee Centre and HR Case Management.
• Design and maintain Business Service Catalogue solutions, catalog items, approvals, and automation.
• Analyse requirements and translate into scalable, secure solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and communicate design decisions to stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support scalable enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders, platform owners, architects, business analysts, and delivery teams to translate complex requirements into secure, maintainable, and high-performing solutions across ITSM, HRSD, Business Service Catalogue, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support ServiceNow solutions in line with platform architecture, design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
• Deliver enhancements across ITSM modules, custom applications, workflows, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and other advanced scripting components.
• Design and implement integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, web services, and third-party connectivity patterns.
• Configure and enhance HRSD capabilities, including Employee Centre, HR Case Management, HR services, lifecycle events, and employee service delivery processes.
• Design and maintain Business Service Catalogue solutions, request fulfilment workflows, service models, catalogue items, record producers, approvals, and automation.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, reusable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate design decisions and implementation approaches to business and technical stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, development standards, security controls, performance optimisation, upgrade-safe configuration, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong hands‑on experience with integrations, data flows, authentication mechanisms, error handling, logging, monitoring, and production support.
• Proven ability to contribute effectively from day one across complex, multi-stream enterprise projects and collaborate with distributed delivery teams.

Hands‑on experience across:

• ITSM, HRSD, Employee Centre, HR Case Management, lifecycle events, custom application development, workflows, Flow Designer, scripting, and platform security.
• Business Service Catalogue, request fulfilment, service modelling, catalogue design, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, enterprise integrations, and third‑party connectivity.
