Daikin Australia is seeking a qualified air conditioning Service Technician to join our service team in Forrestfield, WA, providing repairs and commissioning on residential and commercial units. This dynamic role requires diagnosing HVAC systems, generating repair estimates, and liaising with dealers and customers to ensure satisfaction.

You will deliver clear explanations of service charges and maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid related Trade Certificate/Qualification.
• Valid Refrigerant Handling License.
• Valid Disconnect / Reconnect Electrical License.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Strong technical background in HVAC with experience in maintenance and repair (experience with Daikin products highly desirable).
• Strong attention to detail & ability to manage competing priorities.
• Well-developed problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Diagnosing HVAC system performance through testing and observation, as per applicable service manuals.
• Generating repair cost estimates as per Daikin procedure, for customer approval.
• Repairing or servicing units to ensure efficient operation. If required, recommend further action such as replacement of units or accessories.
• Liaising with dealers, end users, and contractors to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues.
• Providing detailed explanation of service charges and work performed, if chargeable, and collecting relevant payment.

About The Role

Drawing on the stability of the core business and the knowledge of our global business, you will play a pivotal role in the Service team providing repairs & commissioning to our customers.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, working on Daikin units in both residential and commercial premises. We currently have an opportunity for a qualified air conditioning Service Technician to join our well-established team in help to support our business in Forrestfield, WA.

As a Daikin Technician, you will have specialised training on products and access to experienced technical experts to assist with diagnosis and solutions.

About You

To be successful in your application for this role, we will be considering the following:

• Valid related Trade Certificate/Qualification

• Valid Disconnect / Reconnect Electrical License
• Current Driver’s License
• Strong technical background in HVAC with experience in maintenance and repair (experience with Daikin products highly desirable).

In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete the following prior to an offer of employment:

• Pre-employment Medical Assessment
• National Police Clearance
