Job summary

Morgan Consulting is seeking a field service professional to service compressors and similar heavy machinery across Queensland. You will install new machines, attend to breakdowns, and provide technical query support to customers and the sales team.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to travel across Queensland and interstate when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing compressors or heavy machinery.
• Mechanical background with understanding of compressed air.
• Ability to travel across Queensland and interstate.

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing to customers throughout Queensland.
• Install new machines at customer sites.
• Attend to breakdowns and perform fault finding.
• Assist customers and sales team by answering technical queries.

About the role

In this challenging, fast paced and dynamic role, you will be charged with:

• Providing service to their vast array of customers throughout Queensland
• Installing new machines
• Attending to breakdowns
• Assisting customers and the sales team by answering technical queries

Skills and experience

As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible you will possess the following key attributes:

• Previous experience servicing compressors or like minded heavy machinery
• A mechanical background with a thorough understanding of compressed air
• The ability to communicate with people across all levels both external and internal
• Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
• The ability to travel throughout Queensland and interstate at times.
