Job summary

RGIT Australia is seeking a hands-on field service technician to maintain and repair air compressors and related equipment at customer sites across remote locations. You will conduct scheduled servicing, address breakdowns and assist customers with technical questions to ensure optimal performance.

The role requires a friendly, confident handler with experience diagnosing issues and fixing equipment on-site, with the flexibility to travel as needed and complete service notes on a tablet.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Qualification in suggested disciplines (Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter/Turner, Electrical).
• Experience in a field service role.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair air compressors and related equipment at customer sites.
• Perform regular scheduled service and respond to breakdowns.

In this busy role, you will be part of a respected and knowledgeable team, responsible for maintenance and repair of air compressors and associated equipment at customer sites. This includes regular scheduled service, breakdowns and responding to service questions.

You are friendly, confident at diagnosing issues and experienced at fixing them.

Whilst you do not need expertise in air compression specifically, it's important that you can demonstrate experience in a field service role.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• A Mechanical Trade Qualification ideally in one of the following disciplines - Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter / Turner, Electrical
• Ability to work in a remote location without supervision
• Ability to complete service notes on a tablet
• Flexibility to travel
