Job summary

Kingspan Water & Energy is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair and service rainwater tanks, pumps and harvesting systems across rural and regional sites. You’ll work independently, travel frequently and bring hands-on problem solving to every job.

With a company vehicle, ongoing training and a supportive team in a global water solutions leader, this role offers variety, autonomy and career stability. A current driver’s licence and basic safety certificates are preferred.

• Experience in service, maintenance, mechanical, plumbing or related technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing rainwater harvesting systems, pumps and associated equipment.
• Conducting site inspections and quality assessments.
• Providing technical guidance and support to operational teams.
• Preparing and organising equipment and materials for upcoming service jobs.
• Maintaining accurate job records and communicating repair progress.
• Building positive relationships with customers and resolving service and warranty enquiries.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, procedures and legislation.
• Assisting with the manufacturing facility during periods of inclement weather or reduced field work.

About the Role

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and servicing steel rainwater tanks, pumps and harvesting systems across a variety of customer sites. No two days are the same, with a mix of field service work, customer interaction and technical troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities include

• Fault finding and repairing rainwater harvesting systems, pumps and associated equipment
• Conducting site inspections and quality assessments
• Providing technical guidance and support to operational teams
• Preparing and organising equipment and materials for upcoming service jobs
• Maintaining accurate job records and communicating repair progress
• Building positive relationships with customers and resolving service and warranty enquiries

You'll bring:

• A current unrestricted driver's licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to travel and spend periods working away from home when required
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling tasks
• Basic computer skills and the ability to complete online reports
• First Aid Certificate
