Job summary

Kingspan Water and Energy Pty Limited seeks a Commercial Water Tank Installer to join the Installations Team on the Gold Coast. The role involves building steel-lined and Permastore GFS tanks on site, following CAD drawings and customer specs, with travel for projects up to four weeks at a time.

The candidate must demonstrate safety and quality commitment, teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform frequent manual handling and physical tasks.

• MR Driver’s Licence is required.
• White Card and relevant worksite tickets are required.

Responsibilities

• Install steel-lined and Permastore GFS tanks onsite per CAD drawings and specs.
• Prepare for site deployments and ensure tools, stock, and materials are ready.
• Conduct quality inspections and perform scheduled repairs as needed.
• Support compliance initiatives and participate in audits.
• Maintain workspace, packages, and provide backup support for other installers.
• Travel up to 4 weeks at a time.

Job description

We are seeking a Commercial Water Tank Installer to join our Installations Team

Kingspan manufactures, delivers, and installs custom-made steel rainwater harvesting tanks to residential, commercial, industrial and rural clients.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Installation & Construction: Build steel-lined and Permastore GFS water storage tanks (up to 2,000,000L) onsite according to CAD drawings, company standards, and customer specifications.
• Mobilisation & Logistics: Prepare for site deployments under management direction. Ensure all required tools, stock, and materials are onsite, reporting any missing factory items or arranging replacements.
• Quality & Maintenance: Perform quality inspections on finished products, handle scheduled repairs or non-compliance issues, and maintain all assigned tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Compliance & Development: Actively participate in corrective actions and audits, promote workplace compliance systems, and build team awareness of product obligations.
• Site Operations: Maintain workshop and site cleanliness, package outgoing products, undergo mandatory training/inductions, and provide backup support for other installers.

• Ability to withstand frequent and prolonged Manual Handling including handling heavy loads and performing physical tasks
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Note: This role requires the jobholder to travel periods of up to 4 weeks at a time.
