Job summary

RDO Equipment Rutherford, NSW, is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair John Deere agricultural machinery in a busy workshop. You will perform general services, major overhauls, and assemblies across tractors, sprayers, cotton pickers, and hay balers.

The role requires a Mechanical Trade Certificate, experience with engine overhauls, and strong electrical/hydraulic diagnostic skills. A current driver’s licence and safety tickets are preferred for growth within a team-focused

About the Role:

We have opportunities at our Rutherford branch for a Service Technician. A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Agricultural machinery.

This workshop-based role will entail everything from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly.

You will get the opportunity to work on:

• Tractors
• Sprayers
• Cotton Pickers
• Hay Balers

We’re looking for someone who:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills
• A current and valid driver’s licence
• A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.
• Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be highly regarded Is safety conscious, solutions focused, and ready to grow
• A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
• This role requires specific certifications or licenses; we’ll request them later in the recruitment process
