MULTIVACAustralia Pty Ltd is seeking skilled service technicians to manage installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of MULTIVAC machinery across Australia. The role includes on-site support, workshop services, and remote assistance to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

The candidate should hold an Electrician’s Licence or equivalent fitter/mechanic with restricted electrical licence, with strong PLC/drawing interpretation skills and a willingness to travel and work flexible

Qualifications

• Electronics skills and PLC driven processes mandatory.
• Motor, servomotor and drive technology knowledge a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings to component level.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/flexible hours as required.

Responsabilités

• Perform planned services on MULTIVAC Australia equipment at customer sites.
• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and rectify issues causing breakdowns.
• Investigate and proactively correct problems to improve machine performance.
• Perform machine services and rebuilds in the MULTIVAC workshop when required.
• Provide technical phone support when onsite attendance is not possible.
• Liaise with management on service-related matters within Australia.
• Attend machine-specific training courses as directed.
• Comply with local safety guidelines and manage risk on sites and offices.

The Service Department manages technicians Australia wide ensuring that customers are fully supported during installation, commissioning, servicing and ongoing maintenance of machinery as well as providing training of operators, production and maintenance staff.

Main Duties:

• Perform planned services on MULTIVAC Australia supported equipment installed on customer sites;
• Travel to customer sites as required to diagnose and rectify technical issues causing breakdowns;
• Investigate and proactively work to correct problems where machines are not performing at required levels;
• Perform machine services and rebuilds in MULTIVAC workshop as required;
• Provide technical phone support to customers where onsite attendance is not able to be provided;
• Liaise with management on service-related matters within Australia;
• Attend machine -specific training courses as directed;
• Comply with local safety guidelines and ensure risks are identified and controlled whilst working on customer sites and MULTIVAC offices.

Relationships and Authority:

• Reports directly to State Service Manager

Required Skills:

• A current Electrician’s Licence OR be a trade qualified Fitter / Mechanic with a Restricted Electrical License;
• Experience in the food industry packaging or processing equipment is an advantage;
• Electronics skills and knowledge of PLC driven processes is mandatory;
• Advance knowledge of motor, servomotor and drive technology is a plus;
• Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings to a component level;
• Willingness to work weekends, travel at short notice and work flexible hours as required;
• Current Drivers License; and
• A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
