Qualifications

• Must hold an Electrical (A-Grade) qualification.
• Ability to understand industrial controls like PLC, VFD, and HMI.

Job Title

Service Technician (Electrical)

About the Role

As part of our site-based residential service, you will play a crucial role in keeping our automated systems running smoothly. Here’s what you’ll be doing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Tackle electrical and mechanical fault finding on equipment such as storage and retrieval cranes, conveyor belts, robotic arms, and AGV forklifts.
• Help ensure maximum system availability for our customers, from general flow control tasks to working with our onsite automation specialists.
• Work toward increasing equipment reliability by constantly improving our processes.
• Thrive in an environment that prioritizes safety above all else.

Work Schedule

You will work on a 4 on / 4 off rotating roster with a work schedule of two 12-hour day shifts, two 12-hour night shifts, and then four consecutive days off.

Qualifications

• Electrical (A-Grade) qualification
• A mechanical aptitude
• Industrial controls understanding (PLC’s, VFD’s, HMI’s, etc.)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and comfortable using computers
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Physically fit
• Comfortable with working at heights
• Highly motivated with a keen interest to further your own ability and studies
• Honest, reliable and proactive with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
• Team player with a passion for safety culture
• A PR or Australian citizenship
